The art of glass making is an old tradition which goes back about 3,000 years when the Persian empire ruled the region. The tradition of glassmaking and glass vases has not been changed since the 18th Century, and they are still making it the same way, in brick ovens with black oil. Each color represents one layer of glass and there is no painting involved. These hand blown glasswares are contemporary and exotic pieces that are hardly found anywhere else. Since each piece is handmade you will never see two pieces that are exactly alike.
